Just following my last post on the subject of walls - does anyone know anybody who's done the intro course for £60 at MCC? Did they think it was worth it/learn alot? I'm a keen beginner and was thinking of signing up as thought it would give me a solid base for progressing at the wall throughout the winter months. Ta, Simon

I started climbing at MCC but rather than do that course I went with a few friends and did 3 taster sessions instead. Works out cheaper that way and you learn the same stuff.

Me and the girlfriend did the 3 week intro course last year. Was really good for teaching us the basics and giving us the confidance that we could do it safely by ourselves. Would recomend it....
