In reply to jimtheape: I have a pair of the "Dart mono's" with the spirlock binding and it is very secure once on the boot.
As far as putting them on they aren't as easy to fit as say a leverlock/heel bale type,but I wouldn't say they are a bugger to fit.I've got quite used to them and now really like them,also makes the crampon a lot lighter.Hope this helps.
