Kahtoola crampons

Anyone used these? I've got a winter mountaineering course coming up and was thinking of getting these over something like the Grivel G12's because they'd be a lot more handy in future (v.lightweight)

Im not hot on my grades etc but would they be able to comfortably climb grade I/II ground, nothing more

and Im talking about the steel ones

In reply to ponderingloz: They're not really designed for that sort of use - the points aren't long enough. A better compromise would probably by the Grivel Airtech which is more of a cross between the G12 and the G10.
