I know it's supposed to be anonymous (is n't it?) but I had one today which was quite full-on and with "can't stop thinking about you" handwritten in it but no hint of ID.
yes but if there's absolutely no way of telling who it's from, what's the use in that?
they've told you they like you so they've got it off their chest, whereas you're left narrowing your eyes and feeling worried about who might have developed some sort of feelings for you.
am sure there is someway of working it out! e.g. I know if I got one, it would have to be from one of about 10 girls. That's not too many to sift through!
just make a shortlist of candidates and ring them and ask

In reply to jkarran: Posted. I have tried to decipher the postmark, but the top bit is very faint. It was marked 7 PM (I think) on 13FEB but the origin is too faint to make out. It's quite a long word ending in S, so it is n't local. Which pretty much rules out the ex's mate as she lives and works locally.
My corporate lawyer friend who is currently working in Moscow sent me a text to my mobile to wish me a happy valentines xx; and he tried to call me (sadly I'd left my phone in my bag on silence all day, while I was working).. just sent him a reply now though.. and e-card
