The last thread was archieved so here is the update.

The lady of my affections loved the chocs and the organisational planning, we had our date on saturday in london and she's coming to visit me in Leeds in 2 weeks. Result!

Also, she wants to try climbing...

In reply to John Wood:
If she gets into climbing and comes on here, it might be useful that it was archived. Will keep up the pretence that you did it all off your own back without having to ask the UKC collective

In reply to CJD: I still can't work out who mine was from - how about you? Any clues yet? Anyone making eyes at you across a crowded office/pub/climbing wall.

Had you considered it might not be a bloke?
 CJD 20 Feb 2007
In reply to PK:

nope, I haven't a clue!
 CJD 20 Feb 2007
In reply to PK:

and if it's not a bloke, who/what could it have been?

animal, vegetable, mineral?

hey, maybe my favourite crag likes me back <blushes>

or... maybe it was an aubergine. I love aubergines. so purple and... auberginey.

In reply to Pinky:

Ha, the idea was all my own of course... I only asked for places to find a nice card...
 PK 20 Feb 2007
In reply to CJD: Oh*come on*. Someone put it to me on Saturday that mine could have been from another bloke. . . seeing as how I'm so sensitive and in touch with my feminine side. . .

<shudders>

In reply to PK:

do you think someone thought I might have been up for a spot of lady love?

this puts a whoooooole new slant on things!

sorry for the thread hijack, John!
 PK 20 Feb 2007
In reply to CJD: Well I don't know you, but apparently it's an easy mistake to make. I mean - look what happened on Shipwrecked - battle of the islands last week!
 CJD 20 Feb 2007
In reply to PK:

I have precisely no idea what you're on about but will smile politely anyway

In reply to CJD: This girl arrived on the blokey island and a few of them fancied her, then she announced that she bats for the other side! SHock horror!

You should have seen the looks on their poor faces.
OP John Wood 20 Feb 2007
In reply to CJD:

In the circumstances, I really don't mind!

Also am generally in a very good mood and feeling very clever about myself

Was that Leanne?
 sutty 20 Feb 2007
In reply to PK:

LOL, what a come down for them. All stood to attention and all she wants is a dildo.
 PK 20 Feb 2007
In reply to John Wood: Sorry, I was n't paying much attention to names.

<blushes>
 PK 20 Feb 2007
In reply to sutty: And there was the gay bloke showing her a sea cucumber - you could n't have made it up.
