As the title says really, what do you think is the better bag.

Thanks

In reply to j.anstee: Pod Thin ice.

In reply to j.anstee: I've had an AK47 in the past and found the lid to be very poor. Although the construction is very good and solid. If you do go for the AK47 have a look at the new one with the floating lid, which is probably much better.

In reply to Merlin: OK, seems to be what most reviews say. Just wondering what is better to have the crux all in 1 padded harness or the PODs webbing waist harness?

In reply to j.anstee: the crux harness is nice and comfortable, the straps slip through the buckles a bit when they're new though. I've not used the pod so couldn't compare.

Personally I've finally settled on the macpac pursuit 50 after having a arcteryx nozone and an AK47, its not as light as the crux and the pod although its not heavy either. I find the wraptor harness really nice after testing a friends one out. And the sack is tough.

What ever you buy really look into it, because once you've bought it. It tends to be the little niggles that'll piss you off in the long run.

Good luck
