Would anyone care to reccomend a soft shell jacket for alpine use? Preferably made of hard wearing fabric of the schoeller type. Must have a wired or stiff hood for over a helmet and not be outrageously expensive.
Oh, and any colour apart from black - that makes the holiday snaps very dull.
