Crux AK37 Ski Mountaineering

I'm thinking about buying a Crux AK37. I'd like to use it for climbing and ski mountaineering.
Does anyone know if you can attach a set of skis under the compression straps on the side of the pack. From the look of the straps I don't think you can.
Maybe someone who owns this pack could give me an opinion.

Shouldn't be a problem - the compression straps have adjusters at both ends with a fastext clip at the top so you can undo it to thread things through - and they're a good length too.
