Good hear the staff at nevis sport in hathersage will still have a job and it means the original stor befcome more climbing oriented
When we were up in Hathersage on the 15/16th I was suprised to see NevisSport shut-up, and a sign on the door saying it was being turned into a bar...
Hardly surprising that the market is showing such poor returns when you look at these two shops in hathersage. only room for one shop in the area imho.
Sounds good - keep the current one as the climbing/mountaineering store, and use the new for more lifestyle clothing and family camping etc. Cotswolds manage it in Betws, so if Outside can do the same it will be great.
Wonder what it means for the Outside at Calver ?
So, now with two sites, you'd think they could manage a decent cafe between them?
Ahh, has he got a job with Tim and Fran? Is that why he's leaving UKC?
Is he? Does that mean there'll be a vacancy?
Have I mentioned anything about ice cream vans recently ?
Is the CCC shop still there (opposite Outside) ?
So there were 3 ice-cream vans, but one only sold cheap vanilla cornets with no flakes
No. I'm quite happy at UKClimbing.com, and it is going very well.
Could so with some help mind.
> Is he? Does that mean there'll be a vacancy?
So the popular rumour on the street goes. I was expecting to see a "News: Mick Leaves UKC thread" but it hasn't materialised.
> So the popular rumour on the street goes.
News to me Iain......but there again everything is news to me !
I can give you the number of my therapist.
> I can give you the number of my therapist.
You have a therapist as well as a personal trainer?
Awww, I could have worked with you. CCC is still there btw to whoever asked that.
I havent got a personal trainer. The philosophy is self-help at UKC Fit Club.
