There are many types of troll and deep at the heart of each is an unquenchable thirst for recognition. Fine, I have no problem with that. But some trolls are better than others. Some make you laugh, some are ingenious and clever, many are simply tedious and tiresome; a two year old could do better. There will always be trolls and acknowledging that, in the interests of negating the tedious tiresome type (and to give the UKC trolls something to aspire to) what makes for a good troll? Or what doesn’t make a good troll. Either or.

There's no such thing as a "good troll".
There's a huge difference between pish take, a misunderstanding (these take place for any number of reasons; inability to articulate a thought clearly in written form, I'm guilty of this on occassion, strange ideas as to what constitues funny, ditto, even the medium itself), and the childish maliciousness that marks the "troll".

In reply to Mystery Toad: Hmmm, did you know you fit the psycho troll persona at the moment?

Is it possible to troll a troll?
