For those who know the area, try and spot the Rabbit Ears (or Smokestack) formation....classic multi-pitch trad routes.

Tiny bits of snow remain in the shady areas in town. But the sky is super-clear. Snow at Buttermilks could be devastating for a few days, but will be melting really fast today.

Road to Buttermilks has at least a foot of snow on it and was impassable last night in less than high-clearance 4WD. More details on state of the road tonight.

Heavy rain on tablelands will leave the area very susceptible to hold-breakage.

Anyone climbing after this storm should be VERY careful of fragile holds. All the rock will become extremely breakable when damp, even stuff that looks dry on the outside.
