On the 26th January 2008 Dave MacLeod of E11 fame will be coming to Devon to give a master class and Lecture. The master classes will be 2 hour sessions
Junior Master class - under 16s (£10 per person)
Adult Master class - beginner level (£30 per person)
Adult Master class - advanced 6+ (£30 per person)
The numbers on the master classes are limited to 20 for the Juniors and 6 per class on the Adult classes.
The event will take place at The Mill Adventure Centre in South Molton, Devon.
Dave is also a great public Speaker, and will be giving a lecture in the evening at 7pm (price £6 pp or free if you have attended a master class).
The lecture is entitled - ‘Safe is Risky’
Dave MacLeod is best known for making dangerous routes a habit. Dave will tell us how he manages to stay on top of these situations and why he never says ‘enough is enough’ with these routes. With images, stories and film from To Hell and Back E10, Rhapsody E11, some uncompleted new route projects and many other climbs, Dave will have you thinking about life, death and when its risky not to take risks…
There will also be a bar and food available during the evening.
The event is being hosted by Rock and Rapid Adventures. At 6pm Rock and Rapid will be having their official opening of their new climbing shop also at The Mill Adventure Centre.
Rock and Rapid Adventures are hosting a Masterclass and Lecture series over the next few months with The Mill Adventure Centre.
