In March the BMC are holding a brand new series of talks - the BMC Rock Climbing Essentials Series sponsored by Ultimate Outdoors (http://www.ultimateoutdoors.co.uk/ ).
CONTENT
Whatever your experience and aspirations, the talks will cover the essential skills for rock climbing, including equipment, clothing, route choice, strategies, conservation of the climbing environment and much more. There will also be a host of tales from which to glean invaluable advice, and photos to inspire you on your climbing adventures.
SPEAKERS
The talks will be presented by Libby Peter and Lucy Creamer. Libby Peter has been climbing for over 20 years, she is a qualified Mountaineering Instructor and IFMGA Guide and author of Rock Climbing - Essential Skills and Techniques published by MLTUK. Lucy Creamer is the first British woman to have climbed E8. She's onsighted F8a, redpointed 8b and climbed big mountain routes, she has also been British Lead Climbing Champion no fewer than 7 times.
