Loads of snow on those hills, winter still carries on but the SAIS have to stop, no doubt due to financial reason and this vital and informative service stops when the folks still want to hit the hills with some avalanche info, for there saftey!
I know that everyone should have some basics in avalanche assessment, but as we all know, this is not the case, and the SAIS service helps and aids people to make a judgement before heading oot!
