The banner comp has inspired me to ask if they are really supplying the UK market effectively. Two products, the new Petzl Reverso and La Sportiva Miura velcro appear to be available in Europe yet not in the UK. Surely it's as simple as putting some boxes on a truck bound for the UK.

Do these respective manufacturers feel that the volumes here don't justify such "speeedy" product launches?

If you had ever worked in the industry you would find Lyon are one of the most efficient suppliers out there. As has been mentioned, if there are problems with gear not arriving here quickly it is usually due to the manufacturer supply issues (BD C4's, BD Oz biner & Q/D took ages to make it over here). I would seem that Five Ten often don't take the European market seriously, not sure on their reasons, but their supply is generally a nightmare.
