Have been out here now for two weeks and have found some of the best climbing!!! Checked out bryces cafe in wherepapa south and climbed at a cliff called froggat edge which had bolted routes ranging from 10 to 29. Brilliant rock, i believe it was called ignumbrite. Then we headed to the south island adn climbed in a place called the golden bay which was again excellent climbing. I was under the impression from the previous post that i posted that there was dick all good climbing in new zealand, but have had some good days out on the sun bathed rock. If anyone is heading to new zealend bring a trad rack and plenty of quickdraws!!!!
