Hi ,
I am avid walker and have developed an ultralight sling for children ( toddlers ) the same size as my own.

I have a couple put aside for testing, and wonder if anyone fancies trying them out for me - would apprectiate feedback from climbers perspective. ( but dont climb with kids on your back! ).

This is what it looks like ( yes it is me in the video clips ) http://www.obi-baby-carrier.com -
Just get in contact through my site if you are interested.

Best Wishes

Do you think it would be able to safely hold my rucsac on my back?

no - unless your rucksack is child shaped.

In reply to martinwatts: I've got an 18mth old and would happily give it a spin and give you some honest feedback. It looks pretty good actually as the carriers that are on the market atm are quite heavy themselves. My only question would be about carrying other stuff (ie the associated paraphenalia needed for toddlers, nappies, cups etc)?

Oh, I'm so sorry.

The doesn't seem to have much back support for the kiddie, especially, I imagine, if they fall asleep, which should be the goal of any baby transport system BTW.
