Its official, SIBL is here, and bigger and better than ever before. The dates have been finalised, and the sponsors have all be found to make the 08/09 series one of the biggest prize funds ever seen in SIBL

14/12/2008 - The Castle Climbing Center
18/01/2009 - The Westway, west London
15/02/2009 - Mile end Climbing Wall

The Categories are: Male open, Female open, Male junior, Female Junior and Fun comp.

Is it still judged by the parents of the kids that turn up?

Its just you have said "....and better than ever before" and it was laughable when someone's mum would mark them ten points on their fourth go on a problem.

In reply to zorro: this year we have arranged for a number of judges to turn up for the event that have been briefed and know how to score but others are still needed.

Did you raise this issue with one of the organizers?

The SIBL is a fun league with the key word being fun. all issues that were reported were sorted out to everyone's agreement and have been as much as possiable over the years as far as i am aware. we are looking for permanent volunteer judges for future rounds but this still needs to be organized.

hopefully disagreements on scores can be minimized in the future.
