50m on offer for £68, sounds a good price but is it a good rope?

Thanks
In reply to JimS: It's a brilliant rope. I have two of them, 60m.

In reply to Nick Smith - UKC:

Agree with nick, no complaints. Much prefer them to the Mammut genesis ropes i've used for handling.
In reply to JimS: Is this a single rope or a double/twin rope?
OP JimS 17 Sep 2008
In reply to climberjamie: half rope ie to be used twinned

In reply to JimS:

Sorry to be pedantic but twin and double rope techniques are different and I believe the testing is different for double and twin ropes:

In reply to petellis: That will be double then (thanks for educating me after doing it this way for 30+ years!)

I found beal ropes to wear faster than mammut. The price is good though agreed!

Brilliant ropes. I've used little else for the last ten years.

In reply to JimS: Who's selling them at that price and do they have any 60m?
