Washing sleeping bags

Whats the best way to wash/dry a sythetic sleeping bag ive left it for as long as I can but my climbing partner comented on it last weekend so it must be bad!
Wash in Bath/wash machine?
Dry in tumble drier/outside?

In reply to leeangell: Take it to the launderette, use a big undustrial machine, then a big industrial tumble dryer.

In reply to leeangell: try airing it out outside on a washing line and a bit of fabreze, usually does the trick if its just smell.

In reply to leeangell: I was told to wash it with a trainer in the machine and then dry it naturally, and you have just reminded me that the cycle will have stopped now
