I thoroughly enjoy my climbing and am interested in taking an instructors course with a view to a possible carrier change. Can anybody suggest the route that I should take in order to achieve this goal?

In reply to Daniel Hawes: The climbing wall award will qualify you to instruct at any climbing wall, there are training sessions and assessments run from most walls. Another option is that you might be able to take a site specific climbing wall certification which allows you to instruct only at the wall you did your course at.
