managed to drive up to the Gorges du tarn last week, while holidaying in the south of France. Was totally blown away and am now on the hunt for a guide book ! can anyone reccomend one or have any reccomendations regarding the place ?..

I've been there this summer and I really enjoyed it! We slept in the parking, thought, near the oasis area and I guess that un can buy some topos in the nearest village. There are also many campings all around.

I highly recommend you to go there: really high quality routes, especially to go on sight.
