Andy Cave is an author, mountain guide, rock climber, mountaineer, doctor, boulderer, gritstone new-router, Himalayan expedition-er, sea cliff aficionado, ex-coal miner and general all round top bloke.

He has a new book, Thin White Line, which he describes in this interview with Jack Geldard, UKC Editor.

In reply to Jack Geldard - Editor - UKC: Started reading Thin White Line on Thurs and it hasn't taken off for me yet. Still I'm only coming up to the end of ch.2 so hope it improves.
In reply to Jack Geldard - Editor - UKC: awesome, but I think he takes it a bit far when he says he likes writting as much as climbing.
