Coaching Workshops for Climbers
A series of 2 hour evening coaching workshops at the Beacon Climbing Centre designed to give any climber the necessary tools to improve their own climbing. Delivered by local mountaineering instructor and coach Mark Reeves, using techniques and skills from sport science and sport psychology.
£10 per person per workshop
The Training Basics – Tuesday 25th November
The basics of training, how to assess your weaknesses and set goals that will drive you forwards.
Improving Technique and Aerobic Ability– Tuesday 2nd December
Looking at ways to improve both aerobically and technically everytime you go climbing by introducing a few easy exercises.
Improving Strength and Power Endurance – Tuesday 9th December
Ways of developing strength and power. We'll look at fingers, arms, shoulder, and core strength. As well as ways to fight the pump
Introduction to Mental Skills for Climbers – Tuesday 16th December
Sport Psychologists have shown that the best athletes have several key mental skills. Here we cover several key skills that will help your mental performance.

Online Coaching
If you don't live in the North Wales and would still like to be coached then there is still an opportunity to get top level coaching from an qualified instructor who is on his way to passing a MSc in Applied Sport Science, which includes passing units in Effective Coaching, Performance Physiology and Sport Psychology. All for a cost of £10 per hour.
