In reply to UKC Gear: Just as an addition one thing i think that Lou misses is that the very low weight is also for very hard redpoints when slightly less comfort is a very acceptable tradeoff for less weight.
When at the limit of your redpoint grade the small percentages saved can mean a big difference. As well as this the lack of bulk of this harness is also an advantage letting you move more easily on the redpoint too.

I won one of these harnesses in a competition and think it is great for sport and indoor climbing (i find that it is actually quite comfy). although for trad climbing i tend to use the Wild country Synchro elite or whatever it is called (the big posh one with about 7000 gear loops).

Both grewat harnesses just for different purposes.
Fully recomond them both.
