Soft shell trews.

Looking for softshell trousers and want some suggestions.
First they need to be either plain at the bottom of the leg or shortish. I have a 30 " leg and zips etc mean I can't shorten them. I like this sort of thing not to be baggy around the ankle. second a sensible out door use fit ie close fitting with no flair. many seem more suited to line dancing than use in the hills. Third. Not a silly price and 4th availibe. Any ideas? ta

I have a pair of Decathlon soft shell trousers which I have shortened by sewing a pleat around the circumference of the leg just below the knee.

It was quite fiddly to do, but is virtually invisible now it's done.

if that's too much faff Mammut Base Jump Trousers are available in a short leg version.
