The event's aim is to celebrate the 7th year of the 'Widening Participation (WP) through outdoor education' programme at KES.
The various strands of WP aim to give our pupils who would't normally get out into the Peak a chance to build their self esteem, confidence and team skills. These include one off sessions, two year programmes and weekend trips to the mountains.
Year 11 'WP' pupils have been working hard organising the event. It begins at 18.30 with nibbles, a display of photographs and the chance to chat with them about their experiences over the past 2 years. Then it's into the main hall for Adele's inspiring talk.
Please support our pupils and help them to celebrate their achievements.
The event is free. We will however accept donations on the evening towards new kit.
