I'm looking for a lightweight 'just in case' waterproof for UK summer and winter climbing and some summer Alpine. I prefer Pertex and Pile for cold winter climbing and a wind-shirt for the rest of the year when it isn't raining but obviously need something for wet sleet and rain on the way up and for the rest of the year when it is. BY default it will also get used as a hill walking jacket.

Does anybody have any personal experience of the Crux Torq Smock?

I was put off the Flak Jacket by the Napoleon pockets (I like to have my hands in my pockets on wet walk-ins and the Torq range looks better in that respect) but I would have liked a wired hood and have never heard of these Riri Aquazips before.
