Iain Stewart (BBC presenter) Geology/lecture in Sheffield

I thought some of you may be interested in a lecture taking place on Thursday 16 April at 6pm in Sheffield. Prof Iain Stewart (presenter of BBC's "Earth: the Power of the Planet") will be giving a lecture titled "Seismic Faults and Sacred Sanctuaries - cultural responses to earthquakes in Antiquity". Entrance is free, but by ticket only.

Nowhere near on thursday. But Iain's good - definitely worth listening to (free as well!!). Used to work with him some years ago

In reply to Nim: Sounds like a good night out. I went to See Professor John Krebs last night on a similar ticket, and I was hugely, hugely impressed by him.
