I subscribed just before they went under - ended up getting 2 issues for £36!

And the cheeky feckers took another year's subscription off my credit card just before they went into liquidation.

Hopefully they will have a more sustainable business model this time round.

In reply to UKC News: I received mine today too with a sticker saying it was my last issue, when in fact my subscription has two more to go until winter 09, I haven't got in touch with them yet about it, anyone else in the same position?

Paper/printing quality is worse btw (I can live with that), content I don't know yet (although the choice of mountain to profile I find personally bizarre)

Hi yeah I had the same sticker on my issue saying last issue, my sub has four issues to go, not happy!
Agree about quality of paper, but it's Alpinist.

The link off the website to enquire about existing subscriptions is broken too, have sent details as the link suggests will wait and see what happens.

In reply to 48IDA: I got the same 'last issue' thing even though I've got another year left plus a couple f issues owed that they failed to deliver.

If anyone has spare copies of 23 and 25 I'd happiy snap them up off you

try logging in to their website - my subscription status there shows two more issues remaining

if you look closely at the stcker on the renewal form it shows which issues will be your last (i.e. mine says fall 09)
