I am due to have the above operation to repair cronic tendonitis.

Has anyone on here had similar and how long did recovery back to fitness take?

Guilty as charged! Around 4 weeks I seem to remember before I started training quite hard again, but was hobbling around well before that. Worked for me I was going to have to get the other one done as well but started using magnetic insoles in my shoes & it improved tremendously! So much so that I cancelled the op.

Cool, If you do try them make sure you get a good pair. I believe there are a lot of crap ones out there.

I suffered from chronic tendonosis in the Achilles as well.

I was scheduled for an operation but had shockwave therapy which worked.
