In reply to benedave: It just has to be something with both a LED and a Halogen bulb to be fasionable this year, in all seriousness it is very useful to have the option wouldn't be with out the choice now, Petzl Duo is good so are the Black Diamond ones, BD torches at around 150g to about 250g ish are lighter the Petzl has more hence brighter LED’s

If you don't want a flood light and need light weight get the Petzl tikka.
It's cheap, light, stong and a very long battery life
