In reply to uncontrollable: It is OK for climbing as long as you are careful with it and dont climb any chimneys! The fabric is durable enough for what it is designed for, i.e. running not being scraped up a cliff. Its designed to be light not durable. If you had something hard or pointy in it and you scraped it over rock it would easily hole.
