Steve House Lecture
Venue - Outside Cafe in Hathersage, Derbyshire

Steve House was called, “The best high-altitude climber in the world today” by Reinhold Messner. He has made first ascents of the hardest alpine faces all around the world and climbed with some of the best alpinists that ever lived.
He has recently published a book ‘Beyond the Mountain’ which is short listed for the Boardman Tasker Prize this year and has just won the Banff Mountain Book Festival 'Best Mountain Literature' prize. Steve's book tells the personal story of what it takes to climb at the cutting edge of what is possible in the high mountains. Steve will be giving a talk and slide show at Outside as part of a lecture tour to promote his new book.
