Hello all,

Off to southern Spain tommorow and the forecast isn't that mega anyone got any suggestions of good crags that stay dry in the rain with enough to go at between 6b and 7b? Im guessing some of the caves will stay dry but from what i can see they seem to be mainly in the upper 7's and 8's. Any help much appreciated!

In reply to Adam Moroz: We didn't make it out there, but people raving about Loja in the El Chorro guide. Depending on wind direction, there's probably climbing at Sector Suiza on Las Frontales, El Chorro, and at Desplomlandia - Buena Sombre and El Triangulo.

Poema de Roca does have quite a good range of grades, but probably wouldn't keep you going for more than a few days.

Good luck

Cheers for that, do all the routes at Poema de Roca stay dry in the rain or are some of the easier ones on the outskirts of the cave?

In reply to Hephaestus:

Loja is a great crag - but it's high up and (IIRC) west-facing...so not the best choice in bad weather. Also (and this is from a few years back,so may be out of date) the access road is pretty hairy and likely to be more so when wet!
