Hi, I have a friend who wants to do a winter skills introduction course in the Alps, he has very little technical climbing experience but has done lots of scrambling and is in good shape. Any recommendations anybody, as there are loads to choose from - he is currently thinking of going with icicle-mountaineering who are based in Chamonix, they seem to offer good value though their prices seem a bit steep...
