/ Gaia Gear
I'm not planning on climbing Gaia any time soon, however, I was wondering what gear is used, just out of sheer curiosity. I've watched loads of videos where people fall off and the gear seems pretty bomber. Is it a cam or a couple of nuts etc..
It's 2 tied off toe nail clippings, filed down and blu- tacked into a shallow blind seam. Bomber.
It's a bombproof Cam... and according to Pagan, you'll be just confidently flying up the upper section, safe and secure in the knowledge it'll hold you without any feelings of anxiety whatsoever.
Yes I agree; a nappy is an essential bit of gear for Gaia. :-D
I hope this doesn't turn into another thread with Cragrat and Pagan at each others throats ;-)
PS: I think using mats on Great slab is preposterous!
