In reply to Jules C: If they were paying £40,000 more maybe.

In reply to graeme jackson: sorry if your hopes were raised. Reading it through, it's similar to a graduate trainee scheme, with the opportunity for further study etc - as you say, low pay! (£18k). I'm not connected with it by the way - just thought it might be of interest to soemone.

Hah! I dream of earning £18k!
OP Jules C 15 Jan 2010
In reply to owlart: ok - should have said low compared to the £58k required to tempt Graeme!

In reply to Jules C: If I was fresh out of uni with no commitments I'd jump at it. 48, three 'kids' and a mortgage put some pressure on to earn a bit more.

£18k, 3 kids and a mortgage is still easily doable, you spend thrift you

Only if you bought a house quite a while ago, you'd struggle buying a house on 18k these days, nevermind the 3 kids

In reply to ebygomm: He didn't suggest he was in the process of buying one.

In reply to graeme jackson: Yep, thought there might be some on here who'd jump at it. Like you, 3 children and financial commitments preclude me!
