Hi there, I'm looking for a rope bag because I'm sick of looking at my beloved (and expensive :-D) rope in the mud.

I'm not looking at spending 'mega bucks' but I would like to be able to fit my harness, shoes and rack in the bag, aswell as a 50m rope. Rucksack format is preferable. Sorry for the tight specifications :-S
Cheers

In reply to anon1234: just chuck your rope into a big blue ikea bag and use it as a rope bucket, rope bags are for chumps.

I don't like my DMM bag much. My mate's La Sportiva bag is pretty swish.

Check out decathlon. They make some really nice Quechua crag sacks which have gear loops on the inside to organise your kit and has plenty of space inside for harness, helmet, flask etc. It comes with a rope bag inside but can be used separately if you want. The best thing about it is that it's dead cheap. I've had mine for about 3 years now, i use it on almost a daily basis and it's still going strong.
