I've got two Metolius hinged mats, one about 8 years old the other about 4 years old. I only boulder a few days a year but quickly realised that the mats were pretty poor in comparison to my mate's Dropzone.
There is one previous post from 6 years ago on the forum stating that Metolius foam is not very good. The question is, can anyone tell me first hand if it has got any better in the last few years? I like the design and size of the Metolius mats but there's no point in shelling out £200 if the foam is mince.
