Mountain Equipment Lightline Duvet - problems

I recently purchased my third Mountain Equipment Lightline duvet jacket.

My first was a green Pertex one before the days of ripstop, my second was the first generation of drylite models and now I have the most recent model.

I have to say I think this model is a step backwards.

I have lost one zipped inside pocket, and now have a sort of pouch with a single tab of velcro. The outside pockets are smaller, ill positioned and have a poorly positioned, soft zip cover that snags at every opportunity. The pockets spill their contents if not zipped fully shut. And they are cut for people with large stomachs, not so good for people like me with wide upper body and flat stomachs, because (unsurprisingly) I'm a climber.

Mountain Equipment used to be the consummate climbers brand - my new jacket seems more suited to a 3am fight outside of a chipshop.
