WOW - We did it.... (and ahead of schedule!)

At 9.50am Saturday 27th February 2010 we opened the doors to a queue of eager climbers ready to scuff our brightly coloured paint job! The fifty free tee-shirts were quickly dispatched in 15 minutes and before not to long the cafe was in full swing and the walls were awash with eager characters.

Thanks to all the support we received in our first week, it was AWESOME...

The dedicated bouldering centre has something for everyone from the free standing kids boulders to the dedicated training area with (deep breath)- Double Dips, Pull up 'Cow' Bar, Mega 'Long' Campus board, Moon Board, 2 Systems Boards, Fixed Woody, 3 Finger Boards, Old School Gym Ropes and possibly the largest indoor climbing roof in the universe!!!

We can be found on Sefton Road, Longton East, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 5LW. Full directions are available on our website http://awesomewalls.co.uk/Stoke.html
Telephone 01782 341919. Email stoke@awesomewalls.co.uk

We are open 10am till' 10pm Monday to Friday and 10am till' 8pm Saturday and Sunday.

Our dedicated V12 shop is fully stocked and brimming with bargains.

Thanks for reading this and I hope to see you soon.

Comment on the roof photo on the blog -
After the line up they were all escorted back to their holding cells!
They are all to be charged with building the most AWESOME cave/roof/woody in the world!
All are expected to plead guilty. No bail will be given. The on-sight sparky was heard to say 'those boys are sick, sick in the head, why would someone want to build something like that, it's just not right, them boys are going down, down where the sun don't shine!

Does the Lunchtime Special price apply for Stoke? And if so what do you mean on the website when you say "All climbers taking part in this promotion must be members"? How much is membership?
In reply to Philip:

Hi Philip,

The lunch time special 12noon - 2pm at Stoke is £3.50. Membership is free.

Cheers

In reply to D Douglas: Stockport/Liverpool: That roof is the coolest thing in human history. If Chuck Norris and/or Mr T ever visit your wall, we're all f*cked, because the sheer concentrated mass of awesomeness will cause the universe to collapse in on itself.

In reply to D Douglas: Stockport/Liverpool: Congratulations Dave, I remember when Liverpool was a stone floor no heaters and leaking roof, you really have done well! Is AWCC getting close to being the biggest in the UK now? I cant really think of any other dedicated walls owned by one company?
