I am looking for a new rucksac daysac/cragsac around 35 - 40 litres and quite like the idea of a central zip as in the Moon Aerial sac :-

http://www.bananafingers.co.uk/moon-aerial-pack-p-721.html

Since the moon sac is perhaps not the best looking sac in the world does anyone know if anyone else does rucsacs with this feature ?

Cheers

In reply to David Peters: The north face terra 30 has a central zip pockect thats too small for anything you could easily remove the material that seperates it from the main bag and hey presto. Although described as a 30lt I think in tests it works out at over 35. You always see them reduced in sales and stuff. worth a thought maybe?

In reply to David Peters: Although it will still say "The North Face" on it which is a shame.

In reply to David Peters: Lowe bouldering bag? Or a black diamond? Toby S did a review of a cragsack a couple of years ago (grivel?) that had the zip down the back.

Toby A, Toby A!!! Toby S hangs out in the highlands and rides a bike a lot if I remember correctly.

Yep - SnapPack: http://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/review.php?id=865 Still using it weekly. Very basic, but fine for short approach crags and useful once there. Might be tricky to find in the UK?

Metolius do a very nice looking one but it is super expensive http://www.mountain-intelligence.co.uk/268/products/Metolius_Crag_Station.a...

CAMP have a very nice looking one this year as well but I've only seen it on the CAMP USA website - Allcord who do CAMP in the UK don't seem to have it listed yet. The early press on the new PODSacs showed pictures of something similar as well but they don't seem to have brought that to market yet.
