[The LowDown: Watch out for the Finns!, 2 kb]If I'd ask you to name two Finnish climbers, I'm guessing most of you would struggle to come up with a second name after Nalle. It seem sthat it was second 8b for Andy. According to Sakke McGregor (http://sakarimcgregor.blogspot.com/) he did "7 Veljestä" on previous week. The same boulder was crushed also by Sami Haapakoski few days ago.

Cant wait for he has on his mind on our upcoming trip to Åland...

so what is the cause of the strong boulders out of Finland/Scandinavia? good training facilities? good climbing scene? Interested as hear!

I'll give my own opinion and answer Neal's question. I think a big part of it is the training facilities, in Helsinki we have two really good and big bouldering gyms. Also I must say for my own part it's so inspiring to train with people like Andy, Jarkko etc... Not that I myself am really good, but I consider myself as an average climber, and I have had a lot of help from these really good youngsters.
