From Geir Arne Bore's blog I gather that Sindre Sæther, supported by his father Ole Johan Sæther, has free climbed Arch Wall on Troll Wall.

Arch Wall is one of the highest (1100 m) and blankest part of the Troll Wall. It was first climbed by Ed Drummond and Hugh Drummond in an epic 20 day ascent in 1972 and was graded A4+. Arch Wall is still regarded as a difficult and serious big wall route with sustained hooking on far from perfect rock.

Wow. No details though. Many bolts placed, I wonder?

In reply to jwi: Amazing stuff. Had a look at the blog, and I hope I'll see a report in due course; it sounds like an effort worth hearing about.

Holey moley! Fantastic achievement. Congratulations to the free ascensionists.

As I'm sure you know (but others on here may not), Drummond's account, 'Mirror Mirror', is one of the best things ever written about climbing - and obsession.
