Hi,
I am looking at purchasing an approach shoe which i can use for scrambling climbing low grade and walking as well. Does anyone know of any that are suited for all activities preferably with some sort of waterproofness

I'm going to buy a pair of Boreal Flyers soon. Waterproof gore tex liner and good edging capabilities apparently!

In reply to andyd1970: Scarpa Zens are coming out soon with a Goretex liner and are comfy and good for climbing.

Just got some of these when I was in Garmisch. They really fit the bill.
