i get confused too when people say "COME ON!!!!" after they've done something challenging.

Yes - it's a bit of rock and that is the way to get up it. A dyno is generally acknowledged as a legitimate technique in 'climbing'.

Perhaps next time you should approach the person in question and ask them why they chose to say "COME ON", politely drawing attention to the semantic incongruity of the phrase in this circumstance - they may be able to alleviate your confusion.

Love it.
In reply to andy moles:

Dyno's may be legit, but what about run ups? Aye mols? What about run ups? Dunno bout them : P
In reply to Robbie_Phillips:

I would wager a lank would be somewhat at an advantage on this, although unparralled finger strength would be at a premium to hold and beardown on the mono, so not as clear cut as it seems, springers forte, a huge ape index but not overly tall.

How do you grade a dyno? Hale bop in font is famously morpho....ummm
 Andy Moles 06 Sep 2010
In reply to Robbie_Phillips:

No, run ups are blatantly cheating. I for one would never resort to such tactics to send a problem
