Keen to head to a wall tomorrow after work, will be travelling back up the A470 from Tonteg to Ludlow. What's the best option for indoor climbing en route? Will be bouldering unless I make friends at the wall, so the quality of problems has to be first consideration, Summit centre and Brecon leisure centre seem like obvious destinations, is there anywhere else I should be thinking of heading?

In reply to Sam W: Hi, The summit centre at Trelewis is now very good. Its got new owners ‘Rock Uk’. I was there a few weeks ago and they have got rid of the rubbish bouldering room and developed there existing bouldering facilities - you’ll easily get a good hour or two out of there facilities nowadays. enjoy.

"Bouldering" would be a very loose term for the climbing at Brecon Leisure Centre.

Go to either Trelewis or Llangorse Rope Centre...
