In reply to Ken S: Not got one myself but have some other pieces of Montane gear (Terra pants, Terra XT pants and salopettes, Extreme smock) and all of them have been great.
Though I must comment when I looked at the Sabretooth in the shop I was hesitant to buy because other softshells looked better quality. However based on my experience of montane gear, I reckon it's built more for function rather than looks.
What is the intended purpose? What do you expect it to do? Might get more targeted answers that way (and would also help me bite the bullet too).
