I have just received my Nepal Top's and Boreal Aces (yep, still going strong and worn sparingly) back from Feet First in Chesterfield. It took a eight days from me posting to receiving the boots back in as new condition. The service I received was very impressive. A chat over the phone, once they had recieved my boots, allowed us to agree on what the best service would be followed by a bill of under £100 for both pairs of boots including postage and packaging.

I highly recommend the service, particularly when a replacement pair of boots would cost over three hundred earth pounds!

I hope this helps someone who is undecided as to whether to resole or replace.

It's most definitely worth while getting a re-sole if the uppers are in good nick. I got my Scarpa SL M3s done at Feet First a couple of years ago. They did a good job. However, they didn't do such a good job of my La Sportiva Barracuda's, the toe rubber started to peel away after several uses. Maybe the guy is better at repairing big boots than rock shoes.
